Soglia Apotropaica (2021) recreates within the exhibition space a Apulian propitiatory ritual in which people used to place symbols on the threshold of their homes to bring good fortune to their families and ward off malicious gossip.
Taking an impression of the original surface through casting allows these ancient symbols, which are increasingly difficult to find today, to be preserved.
